Made this chocolate raspberry cake from scratch.

Has ganache, Espresso chocolate, Chambord liqueur, fresh raspberries. takes 2 days to make this with the different cooking and cooling cycles it goes through.

Haha, the chocolate cake and steak pie were a week apart. I just didn't post immediately.

Lasagna is gold too, especially with a bit of bacon between the layers. But without it it's good too.

Next cake will be an espresso variant.

Steak pie followed by chocolate cake! You're eating like a king!!! :)

I'm hoping to make some lasagne soon if I get time.

Tried a poor-man's Steak Pie (I only added the top layer). Delicious but very full afterwards.

I used the recipe for scones but ditched it half-way through and decided it would become cinnamon bread/cake instead. Delicious with (whipped)cream and jam :D

The horrible looking but tasty apple pie. The original recipe was for 12 people, so I decided as I'm not 12 people, to cut the ingredients in half..which left me with not enough dough for the top area. Live and learn.

It all looks good to me. The best thing about baking yourself is that you know exactly what went in to it and you appreciate the care and effort to make it just right. Cheap goods from the supermarket are never made with quality in mind. Keep up the good work! :)

Thank JC! First I tried (american) pancakes then I tried making an apple-cinnamon pie, which looked horrible but tastes great..and I'll mos def try again. Still to try: Japanese Fluffy Pancakes (very difficult), scones, more and different cakes!

Ps; it's cooking or baking that's the hobby, not just cakes. ;)

Looks good! I also like eating more cakes than I should, but I have yet to make making them a hobby :D
