I thought AR was dead.. I guess they went more to 'smart' (AI barf) glasses? :|

So you gonna need 2 AR glasses? Or use one with combined sight if that would be possible. But I guess that be very expensive, right?

I have those far&near sight glasses. Okay, they also turn darker when the UV light is higher but that was only about 100 euro more. The total amount, for the glasses, was just too damn high!

first linky, it's pcmag but still

Yeah, getting older sucks! I had to get reading glasses this year, although I'm pretty pleased to have got to 51 before needing them!

Wireless VR would definitely be a decent improvement. I'd still like to see some augmented reality stuff that works with the world around us. Like pokemon go but with glasses instead of holding up the phone. The technology exists, but it's just too expensive :/

PC specs, not too expensive (years ago)

I do look forward to the wireless version. Maybe & hopefully it won't be as expensive as this one

I also added bits of a suspension system, that I bought years ago but never used. So I don't trip over the cable.

I did it mostly because my eyesight has gone out the window. Previously I used the tv in the right corner for troubleshooting but the cable from the VR headset didn't reach that far. Yay to getting older :(

Anyway.. I bought the MSI Pro MP165 E6 mobile monitor (cause it has a built-in stand), and the shitty-quality-but-always-seem-to-work Logitech K400 wireless keyboard. At first I tried the Caselabs s8 case but that was too big, so I took the Cooler Master NR200P which fit and had room to spare.
I was a bit worried about heat but it seemed to just work fine however I did add 2 extra fans.
